Does anyone knows what goes on at the "Early Arrival" for orientation at UCLA?

I'm gonna be doing that since I live two hours away from LA, and the family orientation dates don't fall on the same day.

Does anyone know what sort of activities go on and if it's worth those extra $50?

Anyone else doing it?

I got session 208 :( so I wont be going until August.

Does it include food and a place to stay for the night?

You get to stay in one of the dorms and it includes dinner. That’s pretty much it. I did it and would say it’s not really worth the extra $50

so does the $50 cover the dorm for the night before the day of orientation? cuz I wasn’t sure if it did…

I’m doing it because I don’t want to leave at whatever time of the morning I’d have to leave to get there the day of on an airplane (I’m flying from Vancouver, but I live in Sac… long story). I think they’re just trying to give the oppurtunity for people who are flying in. I’m cool with that, meet some people the night before :)

Does anyone know about accommodation after the orientation? Since it ends at 9pm and I doubt I’ll get to the airport in time to catch a late flight, am I going to have to find a place to stay for the night then? Anyone else having this problem??

I just called them and they said they don’t have anything. You just have to find a hotel or something.

@Sadfish:

Thanks! I guess I have no choice then.

Orgies.

10Charmander.

wait, so it covers the night before the day of orientation but not for the night after right?

Yeah basically. I’m looking at hotels for after the orientation. I found some for like 60 a night, but idk, I might just spend 10 hours at the airport :/
