Does applying later reduce scholarship chances?

I'm planning to apply to Pitt before Thanksgiving. I was just wondering if by applying kind of late, my chances at scholarships are reduced? I'm sure I'll get into the Honors College, but I'm worried about scholarship opportunities

Before Thanksgiving should be fine.

Just get it in before the chancellor’s deadline. I got full tuition applying ~mid-february.

Before Thanksgiving is a good deadline to make (that’s around the time I applied and I received money). Also, keep in mind that since Pitt has rolling admissions, the scholarships are given out to whoever is first. So even though you may be a great candidate for a scholarship, if you apply too too late they may have already given away all the scholarship spots.

You should be fine though and I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I was accepted to Pitt around mid-December, but I received my actual scholarship letter later on.

Pitt’s scholarship deadline is (or was, at least in past years) January 15th–if you have everything in by then, you’re fine.

Pitt’s scholarship deadline is Jan 15th, but it still gets progressively harder to get a scholarship applying in January than say October. It’s just what I have observed in previous years. Applying to Pitt in Nov isn’t all that late, it just seems relatively late compared to some of the other people on here.
