Does being black, fillipino, and Cherokee Indian help my chances?

Is it better that I have more races? And that I'm also a 4.0+ student?
Will this help my college admissions into schools?

The fact that you are a minority race will usually help you get into Public universities. As for private schools that is hard to say.

If you have a 4.0 GPA then you will almost certainly be able to get into some really great private schools.

As long as you are not aiming for Ivy league I think your chances of having a wonderful educational experience are quite exceptional.

A couple of privates I’m aiming for are USC and UMiami. I have a 3.8 unweighted, 4.3 weighted. Havent taken sat or act yet. Ok EC’s. Do I have any chance? If not, what should I do to increase my chances?

There is always a “Chance”
I can’t effectively quantify your chances though.

Coming from high school, I suggest you go to a community college to start, this will help you complete all of the transfer requirements for the university you are interested in depending on the major of your choice.

Secondly, it will help show that you have what it takes to keep a high GPA in a college setting as well; not just in high school where lets face it, anyone who puts in some kind of effort can get a 3.5-4.0 GPA.

Most of the more selective schools do use the SAT or ACT as part of the admissions process along with GPA, so it may be hard to estimate your chances at each school without the test scores.

It depends. O:
If your school is fairly well known such as IMSA, Stuyvesant, Exeter, etc, then you’re safe, but if you have a GPA from Not_famous high school, then you’re a bit shaky.
