<p>I really love everything about Bowdoin, except that it doesn’t have an International Relations/Studies major.</p>
<p>I was wondering — are you able to create your own major there?</p>

<p>Actually, International Relations/Studies is a concentration within the Government and Legal Studies Major. Bowdoin has great flexibility with respect to curriculum choices; so creating your own major is not a big deal.</p>
<p>yes, but the recording committee (a committee made up of faculty, administrators, and students) has to approve your proposal. the successful proposals (many are rejected) must be specific and detailed. </p>
<p>but in regards to the IR Studies, boston is right so you don't have to worry about that!</p>
