bowdoin's political science/IR department

well i just checked their website and well, they don't have any political science/IR majors!!! either way, i've heard that bowdoin's got an excellent placement into top law schools so i was wondering which majors pre-law students usually take. i want to be an international lawyer so with the lack of courses in that area, should i just forgot this school?

i'm sorry, it's a bit mean, but this question made me laugh out loud.

at bowdoin, the major you are looking for is called "government and legal studies," and it's very highly regarded (it's what the school is famous for). i'm not a gov major, but i'm fairly certain that you can choose IR as a concentration within the department (other options are political theory, American gov't, and comparative politics, i believe).

so, in short, no! -definitely don't just forget this school. do a bit more research, because you may find that it's exactly what you're looking for!

haha i understand. yea i just kinda posted that question without researching at all. but give me props for editing it lol! sorry again...

anyway, yea i NOW known about that major so, is there like any way i can delete this post? haha we'll keep this thread to ourselves...

thanks for your help!

bump.....I want to hear more about it!
