Does conditional acceptance outweigh cost/location?

I have conditional acceptance / preferred admission to Pitt and the University of Michigan, but not to Purdue, for the PharmD program. The amount I would have in loans is per year is about $3,000 to Purdue, $6,600 to Pitt, and $9,000 to Michigan. I like all of the schools and relative rankings aren't that big of a deal to me. Purdue is about 1 hour and 45 minutes away from home, Michigan about 5 hours, and Pitt would have to be flown to because it's really far. Now I'm not 100% positive I want to be a pharmacist, and I have considered being a physician assistant or even a doctor. With conditional acceptance I could prepare for either careers' grad schools while still having a guaranteed spot in the PharmD program, but that means I wouldn't be very close to home and would have to pay more. Does the preferred admission outweigh the cost and location issues? Which school would you choose?

My stats are: ACT: 35
5s on AP tests
5 AP classes taken
About 4.5 GPA

Doesn’t outweigh cost and location if you’re not dead set on being a pharmacist.

You’ve got great stats. I’m sure you can get into a Pharmacy program from Purdue if that’s what you want to do in four years. I would worry less about career path at this point. Who knows, you may wind up going an entirely different direction. Keep an open mind.

Yeah, that’s good advice. I do like Purdue. It’s just a bit of a bummer that they don’t offer preferred admission. But really, if I change mind then preferred admission doesn’t even matter. Thank you very much!
