Does Harvard still send out paper letters?

Hi, everyone. I have a quick question: Does Harvard still send out any paper decisions letters through the mail? I know that they notify applicants online, but if I’m lucky enough to get in I’d reallly like to keep a tangible copy of my acceptance. Also, does anyone know if any Ivies still mail out acceptance letters for students to keep? Thanks!

Yes, and it’s a very nice one. Suitable for framing!!

Yes, if accepted you receive a package in the mail which includes a physical letter, a certificate of admission, and other goodies.

@skieurope @go4cornell about how many days/weeks (after decisions are released online) does it take for admitted students to receive the package? Thanks so much!

Harvard sends them express mail, so 1-2 days domestically, maybe 3-4 internationally.

@cookiesncream @gibby is right, back in December it did take a few days to arrive. Harvard is sending another package however and I notice on the tracking site it is listed as “International Priority”. I don’t know if this is the same thing as express, or if it is faster but the estimated delivery date was the day after it was sent (it got held up today I’m assuming because it’s a public holiday).

@cookiesncream19 My son received his today. We’re on the West coast.
