I was on the website adn it appears as if htey do not want any GPAs, report cards, and recommendations. Is this true?

They ask for a transcript, which includes your grades (report card) and GPA (in most cases. sometimes school's don't issue them). There are no recommendations required for admission.

Just a hint based upon a conversation I had this week with an admission's person: if your SAT/ACT scores are on the lower end for IU, do the optional essay. Specifically I asked if it would hurt my D (in state) in some way for scholarships, honors, etc. if she did not do the essay. When I told her D's SAT scores she said it wouldn't be necessary for her. (Her scores qualify her for the top merit scholarship.)

There is a place on the app to self report scores, but they do want the official scores from SAT/ACT.

When you complete the application there is a link to print out the counselor signature page. This, along with your transcripts and test scores, needs to be completed for your application to be considered complete.

rrah, if you dont mind me askin, what were your daughter's SAT scores for each section?

Thanks
