My freshman year I had a really bad year. My cumulative gpa was a 2.1 but I went to summer school got a 3.0 and my gpa increased to a 2.3. Now I'm almost finished with my sophomore year and I my card marking grades are as follows...
1st card marking 3.2
2nd card marking 3.2
1st semester cum. 2.6
3rd card marking 3.7

Does my freshman year grades hinder my entrance into good colleges such as spelman?

Ciara,
You are showing upward mobility which means you are on the right track. Keep those numbers going up. Good luck to you!

Take a look at the CDS for Spellman, specifically C11 that gives you GPA’s

I don’t think so I hear most colleges count the a-g from grades 10-12 but you can get you gpa up by senior year
