<p>They want letters postmarked by deadline; however, if sent a day to three after that, you will be OK because they will cut you some slack when the required item has to come from someone other than you.</p>
<p>You didn’t give the forms to teachers at the last minute, did you?</p>
<p>If your teacher is late in sending in a rec, it won’t be held against you as long as you got your part of the application sent in by the deadline.</p>
