Does senioritis carry over to college?

I'm getting really lazy right now, for the last semester Ive been putting all my schoolwork off till last minute. Still getting good grades, but definitely not putting in the time I should be.
Next year I will be doing EECS at cal. Should I prep myself for hard work by actually trying, now? Does senioritis carry over?

no senioritis doesnt carry over

^^true dat!

it did a little bit for me, in the fall semester (my first sem here)…but i was back on track after midterms rolled around =D

Possibly. And then you take your first college midterm.

it carried over for me. barely made it pass probation

Procrastination will bite you in college. It is a very slippery slope you want to avoid.

I’m banking that I’ll be so pumped for a new environment, that I’ll be working hard.

The problem, as mentioned above, is that people way underestimate the difficulty of the grading. They are used to high school, where a general grasp of the material earns you an A. Then they take a Cal midterm, and they realize that won’t fly.

^

yes… can’t just sit in class and expect an A.

For me it was the exact opposite. I tried so hard to negate all the times I wasted in high school with clubs, jobs, and school work that I became completely burned out and stressed out

Well, it really depends on what you take. If we’re talking like Ochem goodness, then no you can’t just sit around in class and study on the last few days like I’m doing right now. hahahaha ■■■.

Senioritis carried over for me. I ended up with a GPA a little lower than 3. =( But senioritis has been with me since my sophomore year in high school and a little part of it still hasn’t gone away. Help meeeeeee someone

^
yep same here.
