I am planning to apply to southern methodist university university at the early action round but while I am filling my CSS profile, the college board site told me that smu doesn’t accept it from the international students. I checked the smu site and didn’t find any thing like that. They say that they offer need-based and merit-based scholarships and didn’t specify that they don’t give aid to international students. What should I do? please help

Read this…it sure doesn’t sound like it…but you could send them an email and ask.
@thumper1 hey ! You mean that they provide need based aid for international students or not ? I couldn’t understand any thing from that page xD. Tell me if I continue my CSS or not
It doesn’t seem like it… Can I ask what country you’re from?

I’ve noticed that you have asked about a number of schools that offer aid.
What you have to understand is that most of the schools assume that domestic students are applying for aid. These are US schools and their purpose is to educate US citizens.
As an international candidate, you have to assume that most schools don’t offer aid to international applicants. There are only a handful that offer decent aid and those are the most competitive and the top schools in the country.
Assume that you will be full pay at most universities.
