Does TAMU require teacher recommendations?

From what I can tell they don't but I just want to make sure.

Nope! I applied late August and was accepted mid-September without any recommendations! However, it is recommended that you do get recommendations if you’re not an automatic admit

So I should get one just in case. Is there a form I need to get?

If you are not an automatic admit, the answer to ALL optional items is “Yes, you need them!” That includes essays and letters of recommendation (a maximum of two, though). While you may get admitted with the minimum, why take the chance.

So if want to turn in a recommendation letter, does TAMU have a form that I need to print out and have my teacher fill or do I just give her an envelope and tell her to write me a rec. letter to TAMU?

BTW:

Does TAMU also require a counselor rec. letter or only a teacher one?

You would attach the “Miscellaneous Supporting Information” sheet to letters of recommendation. There are no specific people recommended for the letters. At least one could be with someone who has an academic relationship to you, but you can also use employers, clergy, club faculty sponsors, etc.

There is no specific form for what they should write. High school faculty and administration are very familiar with writing these letters, though, so they would know the elements that make a good college recommendation.
