<p>I went on a hunger strike with couple of people in front of finestein's office to give support for a certain bill. Someone told me that though it was a two week long event, it can be put on the college app under "extracurricular activities." I am looking at the UC application right now and it seems like "extracurricular activities" is more of a club type of thing. Do you think it fits? should i put it?</p>
<p>Well…I think they’re looking for long-lasting commitments. If you really want to fit it in, and not in an essay or something, then I guess you could put it there (I don’t quite remember if there was any section that might be more appropriate). They wouldn’t really penalize you for doing so, at least.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t list it. It isn’t really an EC. It is just something you did. I’m not sure it would benefit you in any way to list it.</p>
