Sorry if this is a silly question, but:

I was admitted to the international honours program at St.Andrews, so i will be attending W&M from 2012-2014, does this make me a graduate? or just a part time student?

BTW, I LOVEEEEEEE William & Mary and I hope I will be considered a gradute! :D

Do you mean you were admitted to the St Andrews W&M Joint Degree Programme through the University of St Andrews? If so, you will be a graduate of both W&M and St Andrews in 2015. You will be issued one degree bearing the insignia of both institutions.

Yes that is exactly what I meant! Sorry about the confusion.
I thought I would be considered a graduate of 2014 because I officially leave W&M that year, but who cares? I’m a member of the class of 2015 now! :D

YAYYYYYYY

Congratulations on yur admission to the Joint Degree Programme.

Actually, after your first year, you can choose which two years you spend at W&M. You can do one of two options:

St Andrews (year 1) –> W&M (year 2) –> St Andrews (year 3) –> W&M (year 4) – this would put you at W&M in the 2014-2015 school year

or

St Andrews (year 1) –> W&M (year 2) –> W&M (year 3) –> St Andrews (year 4)

Hehe Thank you! :D

Yes I understand I have those 2 options, but I have already decided that I will take the second option. Look forwarding to attending W&M!

Got it. Well keep your options open and work with your advisors to keep yourself open to all of this programme’s elements and see where it takes you. Either option works great and if you choose the second option, great but don’t feel the need to figure that all out right now.

Congratulations again.
