Does UCLA really recommend a second semester of OCHEM?

So Im hoping to transfer to UCLA as a psychobiology major. My GPA is a 4.0 with all pre reqs done and I wont be doing Ochem 1 and the other Bio class until spring before i transfer, which means admissions wont see what grade I got before applying. It says two semesters of ochem "recommended’ ,does that mean my chances are low? Im a great student and got A’s in all my other science and math classes. Can someone please shed some light on this? Will i still be a competitive applicant?

You need to complete the most amount of pre reqs to be competitive. Not doing a recommended class will cause your chances to go down exponentially as most students will follow what Ucla rec.
