Does University of Wisconsin do Early Action?

There is no EA. There are two due dates for apps; Nov and Jan. Students with complete apps by the Nov date will get a decision by the specified date in Jan. The decision could be “postponed” so the student is rolled in and considered again with all the other applicants.

For students whose gpa is low, the risk of applying by the first due date is that the decision is rejection. If the gpa can continue upward and truly be stronger (one semester’s grades make it really hard to move far), then as a layperson watching admission cycles at UW, I would advise waiting to submit with the improved gpa for the second due date.

Good luck.
