<p>Err, I 'JUST' received a letter, which is sent to me back in march 2nd (3 weeks before official notification date), saying that the Committee on Admission reviewed my app and found it impressive..Also says 'please give rigorous consideration to UVa'. </p>

<p>Yup UVA does send out likely letters. I don’t know why your letter would of come so late. I know your international but still they were sent over a month ago?</p>

<p>Yup. I got that letter around March 3rd-4th. Perhaps it got lost in the mail? That’s really weird if it didn’t…</p>
<p>Dunno where you’re from but I’m from Canada and I got my LL the morning of the day decisions came out… hahaha I can’t say if that made it less or more stressful. Probably more, wondering if they were going to take away my admission after getting my hopes up. I’m an Echols scholar now too.</p>
<p>I live in China. I got my likely letter a week after the decisions came out. I am also an Echols scholar. Are all applicants with likely letters Echols scholars?</p>

<p>Jamiecago - they would have emailed you several weeks ago. I got the email a few days after I got the UVa decision.</p>
