Does your choice of major make a difference in how likely it is that you will get in?

For example, is it easier to get accepted as an Engineering or Music Major than as a Business Major?

I haven’t heard of this, I will say they give more school specific money if you apply as engineering, but if you change your major out of engineering you could loose your scholarship
