Hey i applied EA to U miami and my intended major is entrepreneurship in the business school. I was just wondering is it easier getting accepted to U miami by going for business or does your intended major have nothing to do with admissions? please respond. I noticed that most of the people that post a chance me thread for U miami arent going for business.

It doesn’t matter for the most part what major you apply with in your application. The most important things are your SATs, grades, and class rankings coupled with all of your extracurriculars. Once you get admitted to the school, kids move in and out of the schools all the time.

^ Agreed, with the exception of the music school.

^Exactly, and the architecture school. They both have requirements that make it heard to transfer in to

It’s definitely best to start in the business school since all freshman business majors have to take MGT100. I don’t think it really matters what your intended major is for admissions.
