You have noticed that this is a 2008 thread that was revived after decisions came out?

I never look at dates!

I do think that there is a value though to threads that tell you the disadvantages of a school. For example, much as my son likes the school he gripes that it’s surprisingly onerous to get study abroad programs approved (and there are no pre-approved programs in the Arab speaking world.) He think the International Relations department needs a better overview of the whole world course (something similar to Georgetown’s Maps course). He is also annoyed that study abroad only counts as pass fail and I believe only three courses that he takes abroad will be able to count for his major. But he’s also had some amazing experiences at Tufts that would not have been available elsewhere.

Everyone has his or her own take on a school–and some of it is blind luck–making a good groups of friends, connecting with your professors, etc. So I have no doubts some people don’t like Tufts, even though that has definitely not been the experience of me or my friends. Just don’t get the virulence of your opinion. Even if you hated it, probably a good idea to focus on loving your new school, rather than hating your old one…just seems a little over the top to be warning prospective students from a school…and coming the day after decisions are out, a tad suspicious

The ■■■■■ is back…just woke up and crawled out from under the bridge…boring…the bitter reject arises

Jess is trying to advertise an online school in these Tufts threads, that is suspicious in itself. Sounds like he/she flunked out of Tufts and is unhappy about having debt with nothing to show for it. ■■■■■ …

Why call names? Just let him state his opinion and let the readers determine the validity.

Stating an opinion and a rant are two different things…

^^ and this poster has not contributed to CC, or Tufts, prior to decision day 2012. And advertising an online school as an alternative to Tufts or any other school, should create immediate suspicion.
