Don't you hate people who do this?

Don't you hate it when people get ****ed over amazing test scores like a 2300+ on the SAT or 780 on an SAT II?

The other day, a junior in one of my classes was doing SAT practice problems. I asked him what he got, and he said he was preparing to retake a 2390. I wanted to punch him in the face. Also, back in October when SAT scores came back, one kid in my class was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" when he looked up his score. He got a 2360 after retaking a 2340. He also cancelled his first SAT score because he knew that he got 1 wrong in math. facepalm

Yes, I do, but from a parent’s view. My son never care what other kids are doing though. But if it’s my son who got more than a 2200 first time, he is done. Yahoo! I would certainly not wanting him taking any more SATI afterward. (BTW, I’m an Asian mom.)

From what I know, 2200 is a good enough SAT for top elite schools. More than that doesn’t really give an applicant any more advantage. It would be wise to spend time and engergy on other skills.

^Agree. :)
