Don't you hate people who......?

i just dont think you deserve wearing a t-shirt of a college you dont even go to even if you know someone that goes there. sports is different though

man who cares? if it bothers you when someone wears a shirt from a college that they don't go to, then you have major issues.

Its pretty funny when people buy car stickers w/ Harvard or Princeton when they dont even got there...

I have yet to meet someone who is a "fan" of Ivy League sports, lol. They're not really good at them, except maybe Cornell's hockey team, and Penn's basketball team...

Deserve wearing the college's name on your t-shirt? Wow, it really is about the brand name for you, then. Because you don't go to Harvard to learn, do you, you go to Harvard so you can let other people know you go to Harvard...

And alipes07, how do you know someone with a sticker for a college goes there or not? Ivy leaguers really need to stop flattering themselves, not everybody is dying to be one of you (I can see how you get that impression from some of the people on here though).

i am not going to an ivy league college and i would never wear an ivy league t-shirt because i simply don't go there. college t-shirt should be representative of who you are, not what who you want to be.

^God forbid it be representative of where a sibling or friend goes. Or where you got a discount in the student store for taking a tour of the school (I got a great deal on an NYU sweatshirt once, and I'm sure many others have gotten similar discounts). Or where you went to a pre-college program. Or what school's logo you think looks cool.

Sigh. Right now, 3365, I'm wearing a nightshirt with the Seven Dwarves on it. I'm not too tall, but my lofty height of 5'2" is still far too high for me to ever be considered a dwarf (or "little person," as the PC folk say these days), and I guess I'll have to accept that I have no history of osteoporosis and drink lots of milk, so I won't be shrinking to dwarf height. Should I burn the nightshirt immediately, or may I remove it from my body first? Or will you just admit that you're being more than a little ridiculous?

What if someone from Harvard or Princeton is wearing OSU or LSU or something? I've never seen such a phenomenon, but...

Whenever my family travels, we visit colleges or universities nearby and usually buy at least one t-shirt or sweatshirt. We value education, support these institutions, and think the apparel makes a better souvenir than a postcard or shot glass.

lulz its a school for christ sakes, what is there to deserve? ~_~

why would anyone who goes to harvard abase himself wearing a LSU shirt?

lol, cause some Harvard people are actually sports fans
although, never LSU, I would only wear UT stuff. Hook 'em horns!!

I hate people who wear Yankees hats just for fashion and don't follow baseball.

^Well, I hate people who wear Yankees hats, period.

^That's exactly the problem.

I don't understand this topic... why can't people wear college stuff if they don't attend the school? Wearing something implies that you admire qualities that the shirt's design has. If I wear a Harvard shirt, it means that I admire its good academics and tradition - same with a Kevin Garnett jersey and his ridiculous basketball skills.

Also I promise you colleges that are being advertised and paid for people wearing their shirts don't have a problem with it. Let people wear what they want to.

Nordstroms' was having a sale recently on "vintage" college t-shirts, most of them ivy league schools.
I suppose there should be a sign next to the 30% off that says to only buy these shirts if you attended the school.

Yeah i understand how you feel. My aunt was wearing a Harvard sweatshirt one day and she graduated from TAMU and it ed me off cause your trying to give yourself credentials for pretending to graduate from an ivy league college that some kids work their a off to get into

I hate it when people wear a Yankees hat and a Nationals shirt.

You guys have no life. You're actually acknowledging the OP's envious, nasty and b****y post. (shaking my head)

OK,I understand what some of you guys are saying, but I don't see the big deal with wearing college tees/hoodies..it's just clothes after all..
