<p>Just received word I was assigned to Eigenmann in Central. The dorm seems great but far away from the main part of campus...does anyone know anything about it, good or bad?</p>

<p>Bad--yes, it is pretty far from the main portion of campus
Good--right next to the bookstore and close to the Sports Center. Also, when taking buses, it's one of the shortest bus trips from there to the main mall in town</p>

<p>Teter is a great dorm, its a good balanced dorm, they have fun there and it has a bit of a party reputation, but it's not crazy and littered with stupid people like the Northwest who are just here to party and go greek. It has it's own academic support center in the main building, it has a volleyball court and an actual courtyard where lots of people socialize.</p>
<p>Either you are excited about being in Collins, or it's not a fit for you. Collins is an alternative dorm. It is probably the nicest dorm in campus, even though the rooms are small. Has it's own food court, is very close to the union and classes. The students there are alternative. I have a friend living there next year who is the artsy type and she's very excited.</p>
