did anyone else get one? did yours say that your double room might have more then two people and it would still be charged as a double room? that would suck...

also has anyone stayed over night for their orientation? how do they choose your room? do you just get placed in a room with another person staying for orientation? if your parents are coming can they stay in the room too?

My letter says "We have not completed autumn rom assignments, but based on your priority status of 2 and application date of April 9, 2006, we have determined that you will receive housing in a double room for the beginning of autumn quarter."

Mine says something similar to stevens:
"based on your priority status of 2 and application date of March 27, 2006, we have determined that you will receive housing in a dobule room for the beginning of autumn quarter. Please note that some rooms are built to accomdate more than two resients; these rooms are considered dobule rooms and are billed at the double room rate"

Based on that statement, I'm not too sure if they are saying they are going to put a third person in my double room or not?

i think some people on their application said they would prefer a triple room, so that is why some of pdouble's friends might of gotten in a triple room for sure.

i think some double rooms are getting 3 people though since of the overenrollment. i rally dont see how 3 people could fit in a double room...althoug ive only been in one in mcmahon so maybe lander is different?

no he will because HFS guaranteed that they would have enough spots for everyone. It is just that he might not have a dorm when school first starts. He's a pri 3 or something like that. He's trying to get into Lander. I think that was the issue. So many people applied to Lander (cuz LANDER IS WASSUP!)
