What have you guys put down for your dorm choices?

I checked the housing department and did not see any single occupancy rooms. Are there any single occupancy dorms on campus? Thanks.

If I was you I would try to get in the new dorms, at Ram Village

are those south campus dorms?

Where is Ram's village? What dorms does it include?

Ram's Village are the new aparment dorms they built in south campus and i mean south south campus. Its behind the Craige parking deck deep down in south campus. So if you like to walk then maybe you should try rams's vilage. they cost more than normal dorms and they even changed the housing recontracting rules so that upperclassmen are being kicked off north campus in hopes that they will pay extra for an apartment in rams village ( i would like to note that there are much cheaper apartments off campus and the walk to class is not much different in time, plus u get a parking spot in off campus apartments.

I don't recommend ram's village just like i would never recommend odum village, buts its all up to you and I believe there is some information about it on the housing website.

oooo I thought those were only an option for uperclassmen.

yea, from my understanding, upperclassmen have priority. I don't think they'll put any underclassmen in them, but who knows.

Does anyone have an opinion on Ehringhaus?

Freshmen won't be getting into Ram Village. Don't even think about it.

E-haus is cool I guess, it's a South Campus dorm with a slightly shorter walk to classes and a nice view of the baseball field. But I'm telling you, Hinton James is where you want to be as a freshman. Don't even worry about the walk, HoJo is far and away the most fun dorm on campus.
