How would people describe it? Is it all unhealthy?

depends on what you eat....at berkeley, crossroads dining hall offers the country's first organic salad bar on a college campus...it has vegetarian and vegan items too.....i will say that meats are often slathered in sauces and it's sometimes hard to find lean meats or fish.

i stayed away from soda, ate mainly veggies, fruit and tofu, went to the gym everyday and lost 15lbs during my six week summer session at ucb.

there are a bunch of dining halls and options too, so the healthy stuff is there if you want it

UCLA dining halls vary, they have a wide variety daily, but over the weeks, it gets old.

breakfast is often repetitive and it can get painful.

they offer salad for lunch and dinner; oatmeal and a comprehensive cereal selection is available for breakfast, as well as cut fruit.

rieber dining hall has pizza, hot dogs, fries, and hamburgers/cheeseburgers for every lunch and dinner, everyday.

the deserts are rather wide and offer things from pies to fruits (granny smith apples, bananas and oranges).

there are healthy options and there are the unhealthy options. it's really up to you to properly decide.

poor cuts of meat and no fish (rarely, i had it once). no tofu, to my knowledge. apparently sushi is offered a hedrick hall and rieber dining hall offers "mexican food friday." we can eat at any dining hall, luckily, so i can report more later, lol.

crossroads sucked
it sucked so bad we normally throw 1/2 the food away.
hey lobo jimmy says he throws 3/4 on average LOL

case 1: chicken breast - dry
poke ur fork in - can't get it out
throw it at someone - concussion

GG

I agree with lobo about Crossroads. If you eat mainly vegetables, fruits and tofu.... but, if you eat any meat-related items... it sucks... hard. I usually only go over there to get some coffee at Peet's. I will say, however, that the breakfast menu isn't too bad.

i think that xroads had better food over the summer than during the regular schoolyear ... just my impression.
