<p>I am looking to buy a new MacBook for college and want to get a 27" Thunderbolt display to keep in my dorm room for added size and space. My only concern is it actually being able to fit on my dorm desk. I applied for the newer dorms, but if I were to be put in one of the older ones (McMahon, McCarty, etc.), would I have a problem fitting this on my desk? The display is roughly the size of a 20"/21.5" iMac if that makes a difference.</p>

<p>You know…I feel like it’s going to be a tight fit, but I don’t know for sure. I attempted to search around the housing website for you to get a definitive answer but came up short.

<p>Thanks for trying to take a look! I also have looked around on the site and asked some friends up there. From what I have heard, I shouldn’t have any problem in one of the newer dorms. My main concern is being put into one of the older dorms with the built in storage above the desks
