Dorms as a transfer student?? Help

I have been accepted to Michigan State University as a transfer student for the fall semester. I will be entering as a junior comming from a community college. I will be 20 yrs old during the whole school year, i feel like i will be too old compared to everyone but feel like the dorms would be a fun experience. Any advice on what to do?

Can you afford it to the point it wont financially affect you or your parents? If so I would go for it, dorms are what you make it at the end of the day. I would just be careful with slacking even though dorming is great cause classes are close (naps between classes. Oh Yes.) and you save time commuting, they can be a distraction if you hang with the wrong people or arent discipline with getting your work done over having fun.

20 is about the average age for a junior in college. It should not be an issue. I expect that there are dorms for upperclassmen.

You aren’t like 45. The age difference is really pretty negligible. There will be other upperclassmen living on campus as well.
