Dorms?? -->> Mahoney/Pearson or Eaton ?

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I'm a transfer student for next year and I need to pick a dorm. I'm thinking either Mahoney/Pearson or Eaton because the other two are mostly for freshman. I have all the basic info from the miami.edu website, but I'm wondering:</p>

<ul>
<li><p>Which dorms are closer to the academic buildings? Are they about the same distance?</p></li>
<li><p>Which ones have the biggest 'single' rooms?</p></li>
</ul>

<p>Mahoney/Pearson are closer to the classrooms than Eaton, but Eaton is not that far either. I would choose Mahoney/Pearson, though. I very much doubt you are going to get a single room as they went pretty fast in the housing signup a few months ago (and I believe have waiting lists).</p>
