My D was accepted in early December and applied to housing at that time. I realize that the best housing goes in September. Does anyone have any idea what housing would would most likely be assigned seeing she was accepted after the auto-admits? She looked at the Callaway House (off-campus) this weekend and she loved it but we would have to sign a lease soon before knowing what on-campus housing she would be assigned. If anyone has any ideas/advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Is it worth waiting for on-campus or should we go ahead and sign a lease at Callaway?
I know of someone 3 years ago that was waitlisted for on campus and she never got in so was put up at an apartment complex that had 4 bedroom units. She loved it, even though it was off campus. Another friend was waitlisted and they didn’t take the chance and went with Callaway. They were wait listed there too, but he got in. It was pretty close to the end of summer before they found out.
