Are any of the freshman dorms more desirable than others? Also do kids tend to stay on campus more than one year or is there an over crowding issue like some other colleges where you can only be on campus one year?

Depends. Do you prefer to live in the lively and loud part of campus or the quiet side of campus?

You’ll very much hear the East vs West Debate soon.
East= Where the parties are (On Campus)
West= Much more laid back, quieter, and more green space. (Some upperclassman parties in homepark)

For East… Really anything besides Glenn and Towers is good (Or the honors dorm)
For West… Most of them are pretty good. From what I’ve seen Fitten is the nicest/newest (Best view of the skyline too if your on the right side of the buiding)

You’re guaranteed on campus housing as long as you request it from year to year… Personally after a year I’m going off campus just because there is a lot of cheaper off-campus housing available

Is fitten available for freshman? Also, are there any suite style dorms available for freshman?

My son, a freshman this year, is in fitten.
