<p>Does anyone know if there are cable hookups for tvs in the dorms? Also, are you allowed to hang shelves?</p>
<p>You can get cable through the University, so you should be fine there. You can't really hang anything that will poke holes in the walls. Most people (including me) break that rule by hanging posters and bulletin boards, but since shelving is heavy and will require bigger holes in the wall, I'd suggest bringing free-standing shelves and lots of under-bed storage. Also, closets here are pretty tiny, so it might be a good idea to invest in a clothing rack if you think you'll have room. Hope that helps.</p>
