Dorms

Is it really worth forking over the $2,000 for San Jac or Duren?

I'm really leaning towards San Jac due to its location, small-size (in comparison to Jester), and private baths.

However I hear San Jac is pretty anti-social? I know I have priority in choosing a dorm (registered early) and I really just visited San Jac since I was fixated on it.

Thanks

Anti-social is completely what you make it.

If you don't make an effort to meet people, and just hole up in your room, you could be a loner in Jester. Jester is "social" because that's where the most freshmen live, and that's where people hang out. Plus people talk about "meeting people in the bathroom" which is kinda creepy to me.

A lot of San Jac people just hang out at other dorms, from what I can tell. So if you spend all of your time in San Jac, you might not meet as many people as you would if you got out more.

Quality wise I'd say it's a very good decision if you pay for SJ or Duren, because Jester is gross.

San jac and duren are not anti-social at all. and it is worth the extra money.

It is worth the extra money.. it is way more antisocial. No reason to lie about it. I barely know anyone on my floor, and only because they were in my classes.
