Dorms

Hi Guys,

I was placed in Lejeune Hall for my freshman dorm. Does anyone have insight into this dorm?

-z

I have two group of friends who live there. One group says that they like it, and the other group aren’t too crazy about it. The dorm is pretty close to Tiger Stadium, the PMAC, and Alex Box stadium.

I went and visited the dorms in the pentagon that are similar to Lejeune hall. I wasn’t too fond over the idea of sharing a bathroom with the nine people on the floor, but that’s my personal opinion.

Oh yah. How did you hear back so soon about your housing assignment? My assignment still says it’s pending…

Well I got into residence college. I have switched my dorm to Annie Boyd, I’ll find out if I get in April 14th

cool. that’s the dorm i’m looking into as well.

Annie Boyd is in a MUCH better location in my opinion. Well the Pentagon dining hall was not open this year, but is supposed to next year. Without that, it is quite an adventure to get meals if you’re living on the other side of campus.

^ugh. That stinks; it’s such a long walk from the pentagon to the 459 diner or the union.

they’re opening the five which is a 459 style dining hall in the pentagon for fall 2009. you’ll be lucky to be close to one of the nice dining halls.

They “say” they’re opening it in fall, but I don’t trust them. They are so far behind on construction on the campus.

We got an e-mail saying the 459 would be open weekends while the Union was closed for construction this semester. BS. Never happened.
