I've been thinking a lot about what I want to do when I get older and I've recently started considering Marketing. Excuse me if my view isn't completely accurate, but I know marketing is just any way to get the product to the consumer. And a degree in Marketing can be both analytical and creative with studying statistics and creating ads, respectively. I know Public Relations can also go under marketing, since you're marketing a good image of the company to others. So to get into this kind of work, would it be smart to double major in Marketing/Communications? I would want to be in the more social/political and creative side this because I consider myself to have good people skills and to be pretty creative. So would that be a good plan?
Also for anyone in or having knowledge of these fields; is this kind of work fun? Fufilling? Can it be very demanding? What exactly would you do on an average day or week? How is the pay and how difficult is it to get a job in this?
