So i am taking ap cal and my current grade is a D. Should I drop the class?
I got into bates ed1
I got into Bates ED1 as well and was told NOT to drop any classes due to sub-par grades, especially if it was an AP. If you can’t bring it up to somewhere in the high C range, I suggest you explain to your calculus teacher some issues you’ve been having during this semester and possibly ask for a letter to the admissions office.
Well my issue is that is it super hard. He makes people cry. Is a D sub par?
I’m having the same problem in the same class. I started the year off poorly with a B- and now I’m struggling even more 3rd quarter with a D…
If you cant maintain at least a C, I recommend dropping the class. Schools can revoke admissions if you slack off hard, and it’s usually rare and if you fail or get bad grades in several classes, but why take the chance? If you are confident that you can pull a C, you should stay. If you might get a D or an F, you should seriously consider dropping.
