What would a college think of droping a class when you're half done with it? I can't stand honors physics, I'm trying so hard, but I just don't get it, and at this point I think I'm gonna end up with a C (I know its early, but I've never had so much trouble with a subject) and I'd just like to drop it after this trimester. How bad would that look?

I feel the same way about Chinese I. It makes me want to put a bullet through my brain.

Why don't you just drop it now? There's a point where when you drop a class, you get some sort of thing on your transcript that looks really bad. For us, it was yesterday.

wow, that sounds like physics h. at our school. It's supposedly the hardest course here. Well, it really depends on whether you're thinking about majoring in anywhere in that area and whether the "drop" will show up on your transcript. If it doesn't, you really have nothing to worry about. At my school, you can drop a class the first six weeks without a mark on the transcript. Afterwards, it'll be a "withdrawal" which looks somewhat bad to colleges.

I plan to go into biology in college.... how bad will it look if I did drop now and had no physics?

Is there any way for you to switch to physics regular?

^ yeah probably, but I'm not sure

If so, try to do that first...

If you can't, I suggest trying to stay in physics H. until the latest possible date to drop without anything on your transcript. See if things change. Get a tutor. Ask for help from students who've taken it previously. Good luck

i have the same problem too.
