So I messed up and added a class that was early drop deadline designated thinking that I could still drop after the second week, but it would cost me $10. Apparently, you can't drop after the 2nd week, period. Is there ANY way to drop an EDD course? The deadline was this past Friday, tomorrow morning will be Wednesday. Ahhhhh, what to do, what to do?!

You will actually have to file a petition - check with your college ( L&S , etc)- for an exceptional change of class schedule. Honestly, go to Drop-In tomorrow or make an appt. with your counselor asap. They have become really strict about these drop deadlines, so the sooner you plead your case, the better.

yup, go first thing tomorrow morning and have a good reason (or make up one if you don’t lol, seriously)

Hey guys I just send out some private messages because I am in a similar situation but with an emergency at hand. Any results to what happened? OR any help would be great thanks!

dude there is no way you’re getting out of that class, it’s already way past the deadline

it’s way past the normal drop deadline…

If you are in L&S, they are pretty strict about the drop deadline, but it’s worth a try to go to Campbell and fill out a petition if you really believe you have an extenuating circumstance or an “emergency,” as you put it. The worst thing that can happen is that your request will be denied. There’s also the option of taking an Incomplete if you’re currently passing and an emergency came up, with the understanding that you’ll finish the work next semester.
