Dropping a class

I am in senior year.. and am finding that the Biochemistry class I took is pretty much a repetition of my Chemistry AP class. I am ok with the Chem AP class, but am finding the regular Biochemistry class very boring and am zoning out.. the tests are also tricky pulling my grades down. The deadline for dropping classes is over so my school might mark "W" on my transcript if I dropped it. I would greatly appreciate your advice am I am very worried about this class. Thanks a lot in advance.

What would you take instead?
What does your GC think?
Do you have 4 years of science?

If you take another academic class I don’t see what the issue would be.

I can see the GC’s report now: “Varshakgan is easily bored and zones out even when he knows the tests are tricky. Please admit him.”

Get your act together, pay attention in class, study, and get a good grade in the class. I don’t think having a W on your transcript would be good. If you take another class instead, especially science, it would probably be ok, but usually if you’ve already passed the drop date, you’ve already passed the add date.
