Dropping after the TAU with W? Tag? Admissions?

Do you guys know if dropping a class I put as in progress (after the TAU-winter quarter) with a W will effect TAG at all? The class I dropped that was in progress was suppose to fulfill a science portion of IGETC, but I plan on taking another science course in the spring quarter to fulfill it. The TAG is for UCSD.

Also how would I notify other schools about it?

TAU= transfer application update for anyone that needs to know.

bumpp
Has anyone gotten in this situation before?
any advice would really help

As long as you will have completed the requirement, no worries. Get strong grades.

when you guys update the TAU does it ask for the fall grades again and just press next?

you need to add the class for spring in your tau and put w for winter and call each campus individually.

does anyone know the final day to do changes to TAU?

You can update it, but as it says on the application, the last day in Jan is the official day that it gets accepted.

There is no guarantee that admissions will look at it or factor it into their decisions.

ok thanks.
updated that TAU

anyone in the same situation? I should be fine as long as I complete the igetc by the end of springg right?

I think I got the same question. I take only one course in spring 2012 after I had submitted TAU in which I has marked that course as IP for spring 2012.

Now I am planning to drop that course without a W before the dropping deadline, wondering if that will effect my chances.
