Dropping AP Chemistry

Hi, I’m a junior in high school right now, and I am taking the following AP courses

AP US History
AP Language and Composition
AP Physics
AP Chemistry

I am not having any major problems with the first three classes, however, chemistry is another thing. I always feel absolutely lost in that class and I don’t see myself doing well in the future, both in the class and during the AP test. I already failed the first test and I don’t see myself doing well on any other tests. I am planning on majoring in telecommunications so I do not see myself benefiting a whole bunch if I were to endure this class and manage to salvage a halfway decent grade.

Should I withdraw from AP Chemistry?

If I were to actually go through and withdraw from this class, I would most likely go into AP Computer Science.

If it’s an issue then drop it. But if you can’t, practice, practice, practice!

It sounds to me that AP Chem is not a class that you’re interested in, which is absolutely fine. If I were in your place, and I know that AP Chem absolutely does not suit me, I would drop out as well. However, if you have procrastinating, then reverse that habit and study a lot, and you’ll definitely see change,
