Anyways, 2nd semester just started yesterday and I really want to drop psychology AP and just have one less class. (and also because of senioritis >_>)
My question is, will this affect my chances of being accepted into the colleges i applied to?

You need to contact each college you applied to and ask them. They will let you know. If nothing else, you need to notify them if you're dropping a class.

Generally, yes, dropping an AP class for a study hall will hurt your admissions chances. And if you don't tell them, and they get your final transcript without that class, they could revoke your acceptance since it was predicted on your finishing successfully the classes you started.

What if you're dropping an unimportant elective in exchange for an AP class?

Less troublesome, but you should ask your colleges nonetheless. Don't make any changes unless you've gotten the OK from the college, or at least know what the risks are.

Well, I was only in the class for four days, so I think it'll be alright. If they ask, I'll explain why I absolutely had to leave that class.
