it just sucks, because i know i'm not the type of guy to hook up with girls. i get too attached and take things really hard. i guess what i really want is a gf, but i'm not sure hooking up with random drunk girls is the best avenue for doing that sigh

read the advice PeterParker wrote in http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/256227-how-approach-girls-w-o-being-awkward.html It is just spot-on

Wow - that was from my freshman year, lol - so take with a grain of salt. But actually, I've relearned a few basics just by rereading that. I must say, that is pretty good advice. Thank you, former self.

Smile you miserable wretch - lol - I have to remember to do that more often.

oh my god dude chill out it is a drunk college hookup jesus

Wow, this is the inverse of "He's Just Not That Into You".

peter parker--that post sounds EXACTLY like one of my friends would have written it. especially the "miserable wretch" part ;) it was kind of freaking me out how much it sounded like him..

Maybe it is him...

disagree with leah--"you won't find a relationship from a hookup"

i hooked up with my now-boyfriend of six months (this was more than a makeout, just to make sure you all know how skanky it was) in the drunkest state i've ever been in at the biggest, sketchiest party of the fall semester. we've been together with no problems and much happiness ever since.

granted, we both were interested in each other before this, but still. it can happen. rarely, usually it just creates awkward situations...but still.
