Dual Degree in BME & a Foreign Lang. OR 5 Year BME BS + MS Academic Plan

<p>My dream school is UCONN because it offers everything I could ever want in a school. But I am struggling with whether I should do the dual degree program in BME & a foreign language or the 5 year academic plan (first 3 years BS then next 2 years MD). I want to do both plans meaning that I'll graduate with a BS in a foreign lang. (possibly French) and a MD in BME. But after trying to figure out the schedules by combining the schedules, it looks like I'll be done within 6 years, and the max I want to go is 5. </p>

<p>Please help me figure out which plan I should consider pursuing. A plan that'll be more beneficial to me in the long run...</p>

<p>BTW- I’m considering the dual language b/c I want to study abroad in France my Junior year, and UCONN recommends that in order to do this, you dual degree in the language in the country you plan on studying in. Which in my case, is France.</p>
