S applied to the dual degree program, and just got into RISD. Is there a benefit o sending an update to Brown to let them know… or do they already know? Or does it have no bearing?
My D is in this amazing program. I hope S gets in. Believe me I know it’s hard to wait a bit longer, but I wouldn’t worry about contacting Brown. There is a special committee of overlapping admit officers at both schools working on these applications and they are in regular communication.
In order to get in to the program you have to be accepted to both schools and then accepted into the program (in other words you can get in to both schools and still not get into the dual degree program) so they must know that he got in to RISD.
