I'm a sophomore this year and I'll be taking 1 dual enrollment class (Sociology), 1 AP class (world history) and honors for the rest. I have a 4.27 gpa and I intend to keep or raise it in the next few years.
My counselor recommended that if this semester goes well, I should take additional college classes. I've read that AP classes look better than dual enrollment but my school doesn't offer many. I also do better on assignments and exams tend to freak me out, haha.

How do universities (specifically Yale or Harvard) look at this? Will dual enrollment (assuming I get good grades in them) make my chances at getting in greater, worse, or the same?

Also, what would be a good amount of DE classes to take? Are there any that are preferable?

I know many don't accept transfer of the credits, but would I have to re-take the same classes over once accepted or could I replace them with new ones?

This is a lot of questions but answers to any of them would be helpful, thanks! :)
