Duel Enrollment and Bright Futures...

Between my AP classes and DE classes I'll have over 60 credits going into UF this Fall, but technically I won't have my AA. Do I still get to keep all my Bright Futures money, or will they only give me enough for the next 2 years?

I think my friend was telling me about how her friend had to fill out a bunch of paper work to keep all her Bright Futures money since she has so many college credits.

My understanding is that you can use Bright Futures for four years after you apply it. I also have over 60 credits of dual enrollment, but I didn’t apply it until now. I think that gives me four more years?..

They’ll give it to you so long as you still need it to complete your major. I’m at like 134 credits and still have 30 more to go. So long as they believe you’re actively working toward the major, you’re fine.
