<p>My starts are all over the place. Full IB student, GPA of 3.65, 32 ACT with a 10 on writing, tons of extracurriculurs, class president, president of relay for life/partners with youth, MUN/FBLA/Key Club member, soccer 5 times a week, high school starter and captain, took photos for the presidential campaign this year, want to go into film. Wrote two really great essays, one was about my struggle to get closer to my dad, who ended up writing a modest and real portrayal of me for a letter of rec. My why duke was convincing to myself. I have legacy as well as an older brother who currently attends. I am from washington and white, any chance with my GPA you think? </p>
<p>Also, any one know how the mid term grades get sent? Does my college councilor submit through common app because I went to see her about sending them to USC which she did, so does that mean its universal? Or is it online?</p>

<p>4 days before the Jan 2 deadline?? u must be a really strong applicant or ur local interviewer(s) must hv finished with the interviews in ur area. its not like they dont give out interviews after the Dec 10 deadline. its just that ppl who applied b4 it are prioritized.</p>

<p>I don’t know if that is true. Duke like passionate people which you guys obviously are. If you got that through in your essays I’d think you have a good chance.</p>

<p>I dont see why they would be biased against valedictorians but im definitely not the valedictorian at my school. I think being ranked #1 though would only help you</p>
