Where did you hear they took about 300 from last year? While that would be awesome if they did, I feel like they take less than that. It said on their waitlist letter that they have taken up to 250 in one year over the past decade so…</p>

Duke’s 2012-2013 CDS (Common Data Set) lists “310” as “Number of wait-listed students admitted.” Unfortunately it does not tell us how many people accepted the waitlist in the first place but the years past CDS have been around 1400. I think the 310 number might be about total number accepted from the waitlist and the 250 number might be the “taken up” number where it stands for total number of waitlisted people that end up enrolling at Duke and attending?</p>

<p>D accepted off waitlist this am. Big decision - Bucknell with 10k scholarship and on golf team or Duke and low chance walk on golf team!</p>
